July 30, 1957 ~ August 28, 2025 (age 68)
Ronald D. Hull, known affectionately as Ronnie to his friends and family, passed away on August 28, 2025, at the age of 68, in Columbus, Georgia. Born on July 30, 1957, in Amarillo, Texas, Ronnie brought an irreplaceable light into the lives of those who knew him.
Ronnie is dearly missed by his loving wife, Linda D. Hull, and their children, Landon Hull married to Amy, Lacy Hull, Logan Hull Gann married to Avery, and Christy Hull. He was an adoring grandfather to Madison, Jaxon, Presley, Adelyn, Kylie Mae, and Rylan, who will forever cherish memories of their “Pop”. Also mourning his passing is his sister, Ann Hull Jarrells, as well as a host of nieces and nephews who felt his immense love and support throughout their lives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pierce and Caroline Hull, and his siblings Ralph Hull, Peggy Hull Hastings, Eddie “Pete” Hull, Shirley Duvall Hine, Gwen Duvall Spencer, Tillie Hull Gagne, Buster Barclay, Charles Duvall, and Tammy Hull, with whom he is now reunited.
Ronnie’s distinguished career as an electrician spanned decades, a profession through which he not only showcased his intelligence and handiness but also his adventurous spirit. He gave himself the title of “world’s best electrician”, a title many agreed with and a moniker he carried with pride. His dedication extended beyond his work, as Ronnie was a mentor to many in the field, generously imparting his knowledge to train numerous electricians over the years.
Ronnie attended First Baptist Church on the Square in LaGrange, where he found great fellowship and faith.
His interests painted the picture of a man who deeply valued his loved ones and his leisure. After retirement, his days were rich with the joys of spending time with his grandchildren, teaching them life’s simple pleasures and the value of togetherness. Fishing was a serene escape for Ronnie, where patience and reflection were his companions. He was also an ardent Georgia football fan, bringing his family together in excitement and cheer during the season. Motorcycle rides with his wife were episodes of freedom and joy, panoramic views experienced side by side.
The legacy Ronnie Hull leaves behind is that of a man who lived fully—with adventures embarked upon, work well done, and a family deeply loved. His intelligence, adventurous nature, and handy skills are the traits that defined him, but it is the love he gave and the joy he shared that will be his lasting imprint on this world.
