Jan Williams Campbell, age 45, of Lanett, Alabama passed away peacefully on October 23rd, 2025, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama.
Jan was born on April 25th, 1980, at Columbus Medical Center and was a proud graduate of Valley High School, Class of 1998. Known for her incredible kindness and selflessness, Jan was the kind of person who would do anything for anyone. She was loved by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her and will be remembered for her gentle spirit, caring heart, and deep devotion to her family.
She is survived by her husband, David Campbell; her daughter, Morgan Campbell; her parents, Joe and Charlene Williams; her brother, Joey (Tiffany) Williams; her stepdaughter, Jessica (Bryan) Thomas; grandchildren, Braxton and Jackson; brothers-in-law, Dale and Jimmy Campbell; her nephew, Gaige Williams; nieces, Raylee and Kynley Williams; great-niece, Enola Williams, and another great-niece on the way. She is also survived by many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins who cherished her deeply.
Jan was preceded in death by her grandparents, Chuck and Darlene Woodard, Winfred and Edna Williams; stepson, Matthew Campbell.
She will be remembered always for her warmth, compassion, and the love she shared so freely. She loved spending her time watching Hell’s Kitchen and her favorite moments were those spent surrounded by her family – the people who meant everything to her.
Funeral services for Jan will be held on Monday, October 27th, 2025, at 11:00 AM (EDT) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pastor Sam Wood will officiate. Jan’s family will receive friends Monday morning from 10:00 AM (EDT) until the service hour at the funeral home.
