OPELIKA, Ala. – On 09/16/2025, at approximately 10:52 a.m., Opelika Police responded to a suspicious incident in the 1000 Block of Samford Court.
Upon arrival, officers located a 34-year-old female suffering from a stab wound. Officers immediately rendered aid; however, the female was pronounced dead at the scene. The preliminary investigation indicates that this was an isolated incident, and there is no ongoing threat to public safety.
All individuals involved have been identified and interviewed by police. Due to the sensitive nature of the case and the involvement of a juvenile, no further details can be released at this time in accordance with applicable laws.
