Clifford “Allen” Crowe, affectionately known as “The Crowe”, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025, in Cusseta, Alabama. Born on September 16, 1968, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Allen was a man known for his handy skills, selflessness and love of family and friends. He was a dedicated member of Newsong Baptist Church and an avid outdoorsman and Georgia football fan.
Family was at the heart of Allen’s world. He was the loving husband of Dana Maloy Crowe, for eighteen years. He had three wonderful children: Crystal (Clifton) Autry, Colby (Katelin) Crowe, and Samuel Sanabria. Allen loved his children, and his grandchildren, Colby Crowe Jr., McKinley Grace Autry, Colt Crowe, Brycen Green, Blayklee Abney, and God child Eddie Walker Jr. Allen was also a cherished brother to Joey (Shannon) Crowe, Sonja “Sandy” Crowe, Norman “Rock” (Leslie) Crowe, and Nancy Hammond Crowe, special cousin’s, Kathy (David) Jones and Michael McCann, nieces and nephews Chad (Elizabeth) Crowe, Cati (Jock) Hood, Kira (Caden) Dowdell, Brock Crowe, Thea (Nick) Yates, Josh (Stephanie) Crowe, and Brad (Jasmine) Crowe, and numerous other family members. Allen was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Darlene Crowe.
Funeral services for Allen will be held on Thursday, September 25th, 2025, at 11:00 AM (EDT) at the Johnson Brown-Service Chapel in Valley, Alabama. Interment will follow in Johnson Memorial Garden Cemetery. Reverend Leonard Autry will officiate. Allen’s family will receive friends Wednesday, September 24th, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM (EDT) for visitation at the Johnson Brown-Service in Valley, Alabama.
