Opelika Mayor Gary Fuller announced today that Pharmavite, which operates a manufacturing site in Opelika, will invest more than $13 million of additional capital into the facility to support its growth. Pharmavite is a nutrition-powered wellness company dedicated to helping people live healthier, more vital lives through its portfolio of brands – Nature Made, Bonafide, Equelle, MegaFood, and Uqora. As the leading national vitamin and supplement broadline brand, Nature Made’s comprehensive lineup of high-quality vitamins and supplements includes gummies that are manufactured in its Opelika facility, which first opened its doors in 2013, creating 280 new jobs. Since then, Pharmavite has invested more than $173 million into the facility and has grown its local workforce to more than 600 employees.
Mayor Fuller added, “Pharmavite’s continued investment in Opelika is a testament to the strength of our business community and the high quality of our workforce. We are proud to support a company that is not only creating jobs but also making a positive impact on the health and wellness industry. We look forward to seeing their continued success in our city.”
