Jerry Lee Walls Sr was born May 17, 1955, to Sue Johnson Walls and Frank Walls in Langdale Alabama. He passed into his heavenly home on Friday October 3, 2025.
A man known by many names. Fat Head, Brother, Hubby, Mr. J, Coach, Uncle Jerry and his proudest name Dad and Pawpaw.
From ball, jokes, music, singing and worship, eating and loving Dad overdid it all! The master of cutting up, grilled cheese and fixing old hot rod cars. Daddy was a Jerry of all Trades. He will leave a BIG hole in the lives of those that loved him best, his devoted and loving Wife, Lula Walls, his daughter April (Cale) Parrish, son Jerry “Lee” Walls Jr (Jennifer) His 2 biggest fans grands Colton and Ethan Walls. His sister Shirley (Jim) King. A special niece Tina (Mark) Harris, Sister-in-law Gwen Johnson, sister-in-law Catherine (Jeff) Colburn, Lisa (Terry) Gray, brother-in-law Charles (Ellowese) Fetner, Robert (Julie) Fetner. Many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Cousins, extended family and His fur baby Sparky. His West End Church family and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his mom, Dad, his Brother Phillip Martin “Butch” Johnson, Sister Clara (Henry) Inman.
While Jerry will be missed, he will always be in our memories and hearts. He often sung about his home in heaven and he is now there with singing with the angels. Jerry in no way could ever be summed up in a paragraph. I do know though that he was proud.
Jerry’s memorial service will be at West End Baptist Church on Tuesday October 7th at 5pm est. We will see friends and family an hour before the service.
