Post: Third Person Charged in Opelika Home Invasion

OPELIKA, Ala. –Opelika Police have arrested a third individual involved in the August 26, 2025, home invasion on Pepperell Parkway. On September 26, 2025, 19-year-old Terrel Marquese Goods from Smiths Station, AL, was arrested and charged with two counts of First-Degree Robbery and one count of First-Degree Burglary.

The victims of the home invasion reported that two masked individuals, armed with firearms, entered their home and demanded money and cellphones before fleeing the scene. Goods was identified as the second armed suspect, along with 21-year-old Darrion Tyshawn Hearns of Opelika, who was arrested on August 28, 2025. Additional evidence linked 23-year-old Tamira Shamia Simmons from Opelika, as an indirect participant in the robbery, and she was arrested on September 2, 2025.
