Donald Leroy Malott, 58, of Alabama, died Friday, September 12, 2025, at his residence following a brief illness.
He was born March 13, 1967, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to the late Joyce Gee and William Gee.
Surviving are sisters: Melinda Keaton of Ohio, Mary Grubb of Ohio, Billie (Tom) Reed of Ohio, Rebecca Penrod of Ohio, Venita Layne of Dayton; brothers: Timothy Gee of Tennessee, WIlliam Gee of Ohio, Paul (Amy) Detty of Ohio, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his mother, Joyce Gee, father, William Gee, stepfather, Rockford Detty; brothers: David Gee, Michael Detty, Rocky (Skip) Detty; sisters: Catherine (Gee) Ratcliff and Bobbie Davis.
Funeral services for Donald will be held on Thursday, September 18th, 2025, at 2:30 PM (EDT) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley, Alabama. Interment will follow in Cusseta Cemetery. Brother Robert Frazier will officiate. Donald’s family will receive friends Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM (EDT) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley.
