According to Chambers EMA, The National Weather Service has expanded the “enhanced risk” (level 3/5) of severe storms to cover much of South Alabama tonight.
As of now, Chambers remains in the “slight risk” (yellow), however, with the winds being as gusty as they will be before (and behind) the storms, and high as the gusts will be within the storms, please take any severe thunderstorm warnings as serious as you would a tornado warning. All weather sources are emphasizing straight line damaging winds, again, so prepare for downed lines and trees. Timing for Chambers is roughly 11pm through 4am Eastern time.
