LaFayette- On Tuesday, LaFayette Police Chief George Rampey issued a press release regarding a shooting on the County Road 32 last month.
“On January 28th, around 5:30 pm CST., the LaFayette Police Department was dispatched to the 1000 Block of County Road 32 in reference to a person that had been shot. LaFayette EMS and Police Department responded to the scene. While on the scene, Officers found a black male suffering from a gunshot wound. The male was approximately 30 years old and was transported to Piedmont Hospital with serious injuries”, said Rampey.
“The victim’s name is not being released pending the ongoing investigation”, added Rampey.
